I Love Science and the Arts. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters degree in Education Leadership both from Northern Arizona University. I am certified to teach both Science and English and have spent the past 18 years teaching high school Sciences, English, Ceramics, Art, Sewing and Psychology.
I spend my free time cooking, riding my horse, gardening, kayaking, dancing and sewing. Health and nutrition are very important to me and I work at staying active and eating quality food.
I treat my students as if they were my children. I teach them that it is more important to be able to research and find valid information than it is to memorize facts. This will enable them to make important life decisions based on self acquired knowledge. I ask them to " Rise above low expectations and do difficult things."
