Andi received her Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN and her Bachelor's in English and Secondary Education from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. She is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona.
Andi started her career journey as a high school English teacher in rural South Carolina. After 3 years in public education she felt her skills would be better used working individually with teens supporting them in building their identity and skills for successful adulthood. Prior to joining SSA in November 2021, Andi worked for 7 years in a community based mental and behavioral health children's agency in Prescott, Arizona. Andi has worked with individuals and families from birth to young adulthood. She has a passion for LGBTQIA+ youths, as well as the unique experiences of teens assigned female at birth.
In her spare time, Andi enjoys playing Tabletop Role Playing Games, such as Dungeons and Dragons, spending time outdoors camping and hiking, and traveling when the opportunity arises. Andi is the Dog Mom of Tucker and Desi. Andi grew up all across the Southeastern United States, but generally claims South Carolina as her "home."
