Amy hails from Louisiana and received her Master of Social Work from Tulane University School of Social Work in New Orleans, LA and specialized in International Studies, Anxiety and Depression, and Addictions.
Amy has had experience working in hospital settings where she worked with both adolescents and adults providing psychotherapy, implementing multifaceted interventions, goal setting strategies and individualized therapeutic treatment. Additionally, Amy has worked as a Bereavement and Grief Social Worker, Women's and Children's Social Work Specialist and Counselor with University of New Orleans Counseling Services.
Amy's warm, approachable southern style is perfect for SSA's Relational Model, and her love of working with teens shows in every interaction. Amy loves spending time exploring all that Arizona has to offer with her husband, 7 year old son and their 8 month old puppy, Blitz!
