Individual Therapy Sessions
Reinforcing Skills Learned
Students meet with their primary therapist a minimum of two hours per week. These sessions are used to:
- Process and reinforce skills obtained in group therapy
- Review progress related to goals and objectives identified in the treatment plan
- Assess needs strengths and abilities
- Problem solve
- Process struggles
- Receive support and guidance.
Our primary therapists are also the group therapists and family therapist giving them a unique insight into our students treatment process. Further, our primary therapists lead the treatment teams, consisting of a student’s academic counselor and primary community mentor.
The therapist guides student support plans based upon the individual needs of each student and ensures that individual needs, strengths and abilities are at the core of these support plans.
