Chesley Strowd, MS, NCC, LPC – Marketing and Outreach Director
Certified Parent Coach
Chesley received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University. She is also a Certified Parent Coach. Chesley has worked in the field of therapeutic programs for more than 15 years. Her passion and dedication to this work has taken her on a journey from Admissions and Marketing, to becoming a Certified Parent Coach in 2009, and on to earning her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon.
Chesley’s diverse background provides a perfect match for this position, and offers a variety of opportunities for her to blend into the SSA community. Weaving her passion for working with youth and families, along with her therapeutic experience, she is uniquely qualified to work with professionals, students and families in finding their path to health, healing and a joy- filled life.
Through her experience in working with adolescents and young adults, Chesley has connected with many incredible people and professionals from across the country with the goal of helping youth and families rebuild healthier relationships and lives. Chesley and her husband are the parents of a beautiful teenage daughter.
Tammy Behrmann – Marketing Director
Tammy’s career began in 1989 when she began helping teens make changes that last a lifetime. In 1996 she moved to Arizona where she was integral team member in founding and opening her first successful Therapeutic Boarding School.
Then in 1998 she realized her own dream by founding a nationally recognized Girls Therapeutic Boarding School in Lake Montezuma, Arizona. She is also the founder of a Ashcreek Ranch Academy in in Southern Utah – a successful Residential Treatment Center for boys.
Tammy has served as a member of the school board for the local private school her girls attended. Nothing motivates Tammy more than being a part of young people turning their lives around and helping families reunite and heal.
Stephanie Sterrett – Admissions Coordinator
Stephanie started working Residential Care in 2006 and immediately enjoyed working directly with the students in a supportive role. After a few years as a Residential Lead, she then came to diversify her experience with Paul Ravenscraft in the Admissions Department.
Being able to share with parents and professionals the daily life aspects of what makes Sedona Sky Academy a unique and empowering experience for young ladies has been rewarding, especially, in seeing the end result of their journey at graduation.
Looking back on the past 9 years of working with adolescent girls has been a sentimental journey filled with gratitude in having the opportunity to know each of the girls and their families.
Stephanie graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from University of Maryland, although her other interests of study include Anthropology and Archaeology, which she shares with her mother and sister.
